I want to become a lot of things in my life, but one of the most important ones is to become a guy who knows to solve problems with computer and machines.
After CSE Engineering, I tried getting into digital marketing to learn about business and some day starts one on my own. Digital marketing topic in itself was quite small and things were repeating over time. The business was in digital marketing, so I left to catch the train of learning which doesn’t stop quite often.

Engineering gives me inner satisfaction
After getting my B Tech Computer Science degree, I got a job in a company which was the best digital marketing agency in Hyderabad of its time(2017). I joined there as a business developer but the team observed that I am more in the technical side than the marketing side.
So I moved and became the first research and developer for the company for SEO(Search engine Optimisation). I worked with the company for 8 months and over dissatisfaction, I quit my job on 1st January 2018 as a new year resolution. After quitting I started a company named stablx, A Hyderabad based digital marketing agency.
After pursuing for 1.5 years, I found that digital marketing wasn’t interesting anymore and I do not have anything new to learn. So, I turned down the office and took a move to my core technical interest “Software Engineer”.
Software engineering and programming is something which I always wanted to do and did my best in my college days. So it was the time to get into software engineering.
My childhood
My childhood was spent in a village with no electricity. In 2004 I got to see an LED bulb which was lighting up with 3 dead batteries and cow dung solution.
I was surprised, how the heck it’s happening. The very first time in my life I had seen an LED bulb which was amazing in itself and then powering it up with cow dung solution. Completely ridiculous.
After that, All the money( 2 rupees, probably once in several months) was spent on buying LED lights. I loved it.
I loved to not spend my money buying chocolate rather buy an LED light which will light up in my house.
My father
My father is an uncertified mechanical engineer who has learnt to buy, maintain and most importantly repair mechanical engines which were designed by Chinese.
There was a moment when my father’s machine wasn’t starting and he wasn’t able to solve that. He took it to the district market and waited for 2 months to get it solved. The mechanic called after 2 months and told the machine cannot be repaired and he should take it back and sell as scrap.
My father, who was doing this shit for a long time didn’t agree and took it to the capital of the state where every machine parts were available and repaired.
This time the mechanic tool 1 month time and my father happily agreed as the machine will be repaired.
After a month and a few days, the mechanic assistant called and told the machine cannot be repaired. He should scrap it.
My father turned down the phone, brought the machine back and kept it at home.
Village houses have a lot of space so we too had enough.
One fine day when I was studying in the room heard a sound “That Thag Thag Thag Thuk Thuk Thuk…..”. I was like what happened now?
When I came out to check it, It was my father and the machine. My father was taking a proud glace in a walk. I felt proud, and said, “Ye Itna awaj kyu de Raha he?”(Why it’s making a lot of sounds”). He said, “Ho Jaayega, Wo bhi Ho jaayega”(Ooh, That will be fixed too.
I really feel proud of my father and appreciate his knowledge and skills to make things happen. There were many small moments which makes me feel and I call him an “Engineer”.
My Plan
My plan is to learn all the basic blocks of software development which includes
- Software Engineering
- Coding on Own
- Using frameworks to make things faster
- Work in the industry for a while
- Make things on my own
- Integrate it to my existing assets
Once, I have enough knowledge of them, I will be good to go in different segments of software engineering and explore more. Unlike Digital Marketing, I really like programming as it makes me to learn new things.
The B-Tech
I fought with my father to do B tech. Just like any other parent in the village, my father asked me to fill a government form. I never did that.
Getting into B tech was a struggle. Almost everyone, of course, my father, my village seniors suggested me to be there and study. I was not okay with that!
The World
The world was in very unstructured and inaccessible for everyone until the .com boomed. Today if we are able to get “70,000” answers from a simple search and able to see Antarctica live on our computer then it’s all because someone wrote a program for that.
The computer gave humans invaluable accessibility which never existed. It all happened because people always took an interest in science, computers programming and most importantly defining a complex situation as a problem and making a solution for everyone.
If I have the capability to understand and work on something which can help millions of people, I will do that.
As a matter of fact, If in one side life gives me an easy life cool job, food, gaming console, good house to live and in the other “A life with engineering and capability to make an impact on people“, I will always choose the 2nd one.
